Your daily role
Audit all food safety-related quality processes to ensure Quality group leaders and technicians are maintaining all process parameters.
Audit product quality reports on all processing lines to ensure proper grade levels are being recorded and customer requirements are being satisfied.
Work with the Quality Systems Manager, production and packaging staff to continually improve and maintain the quality of existing product.
Develop a working knowledge of equipment (adjustment and troubleshooting maximizing output and quality by controlling process parameters) to support coaching and mentorship of team members.
Your profile
Prior experience in food processing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of GFSI, government, and industry quality assurance codes and standards
Strong Computer skills required
Must be flexible to support business needs that include weekends and other off-shifts
