We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Health Services Administrator (HSA) to lead our healthcare team at a correctional facility in Newark, NJ. This is a full-time role with a salary range of $115,000 to $160,000, dependent on experience, and offers the opportunity to significantly impact the quality of healthcare services provided.

Role Overview: As the HSA, you will oversee all day-to-day activities of the health services unit, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained according to NCCHC, ACA, and other relevant guidelines. You will supervise a team of around 20 direct reports, providing leadership and support to ensure that both clinical and administrative operations run smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the delivery of contracted healthcare services and personnel supervision at the assigned facility.
  • Collaborate closely with the Site Medical Director and institutional authorities to optimize healthcare services.
  • Coordinate recruitment and staffing schedules, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
  • Develop and implement site-specific quality improvement programs.
  • Oversee financial performance, ensuring cost-effective management without compromising the quality of care.

Qualifications:
  • BSN required, with preference for candidates holding a Master's degree (MHA, MBA).
  • Current, unrestricted RN license in NJ.
  • Minimum of three years of management or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Correctional healthcare experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and leadership experience are essential.
