Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service, supporting families, and driving sales in the on-demand, flexible child care services industry? Bumo is actively seeking a reliable and fast learner to join our dedicated team as a Customer Service and Sales Team Member. This role will play a crucial part in facilitating seamless child care bookings for families while also contributing to the growth of our platform through effective sales strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist families in booking on-demand, flexible child care services through our platform.
  • Provide outstanding customer support via phone, email, and live chat to address inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Actively engage in sales efforts to promote our child care services and drive customer acquisition.
  • Collaborate with child care providers to ensure a smooth booking process and resolve any scheduling issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, inquiries, and feedback to enhance service quality.
  • Work closely with the team to improve customer service and sales strategies, contributing to the enhancement of our child care booking system.
  • Handle documentation such as licensing paperwork, immunization records, and other necessary paperwork involved in child care services.
  • Act as a self-starter, taking the initiative to identify and execute tasks essential to the efficient functioning of the child care booking process.
  • Contribute valuable insights and suggestions to enhance our child care booking system.

Requirements:
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on empathy, patience, and problem-solving.
  • Strong communication abilities both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in sales, with the ability to drive customer acquisition and meet sales targets.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday within the PST time zone.
  • Preferred: Work hours between 8 AM - 6 PM.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
  • Preferred: Background in child development or relevant experience in child care settings such as child centers or daycares.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when necessary.
