Job Description:

Specific duties will include:
  • Provide network, phone, and desktop support, either remotely or in person *
  • Ensure requests are resolved and documented in a timely fashion.
  • Communicate issues and offer resolution with users.
  • Set up new hardware/software as needed.
  • Must be able to work on-call as needed.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring efficient resolution, and minimizing downtime.

Training/ Skills
  • Minimum of 2+ years relevant experience, preferable in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience with Server Administration and Networking Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365 application support.
  • Must be able to install, move, and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • 4-year degree desired. A+ and Network+ certifications desired.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good interpersonal skills Good oral and written communication skills. Fluency in English required.

Plus:
  • Specific logistics/supply chain industry experience
  • Any certifications (CompTIA A+ or Security Certification, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), ITIL Foundation Certification)
  • Associates/Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working with EDI Related problems
  • Experience using Manage Engine (Ticketing system)

Day to Day:
  • One of the largest Supply Chain and Logistics companies is looking for a L2-L3 Technical Support Associate to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will respond to a ticketing system in Service Now to provide phone, email, and in person technical support as needed. ( this is not a remote position. We have 17 sites in the Chicago area) They will be supporting the internal team with account unlocks, mapping, directing escalations, as well as supporting an external team with password resets and equipment issues. The Technical Support Associate will also assist with printer support including troubleshooting, maintenance and hardware replacement such replacing print heads on Zebra. Configuration and support of local network equipment with guidance from the Network Team. You will be joining a growing team and will be given the opportunity to be exposed to multiple tools and technologies.
