Flowers by Brian is a fast-paced, high-end floral and event design studio located in Mineola, New York. We are looking to grow our team to include a dependable, organized and outgoing Office Manager/ Administrative Assistant. The candidate will perform various clerical and administrative functions in an office/ warehouse environment to assist in driving the company's success.
The ideal candidate will be a master of efficiency and logistics, able to navigate a fast-paced environment with grace, and have excellent communication and organizational skills. The right person will be able to pivot between priorities seamlessly and is a self-starter who learns quickly and is comfortable working independently. The position is approximately 30- 35 hours a week with flexible scheduling Tuesday- Friday.
Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite, including, Sheets, Word and Excel
Strong organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Highest level of customer service and phone etiquette
Problem-solving skills
Minimum of 3+ years of relevant office manager experience
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive support to the CEO, including, emails, scheduling and accounting
Assist with daily responsibilities of reception desk as needed
Daily use of Microsoft and Google Suites
Responsible for the organization and management of billing receivables and billing payables
Collaborate with different departments to ensure the timely success of our events
