Lead the engineering team to support customer success by delivering high-quality optoelectronic devices. Drive automation, production efficiency, and process improvements. Collaborate with sales, business development, and production teams for product design and contract execution. Report to the COO.
Key Responsibilities:
Improve engineering practices for design, ECN, BOM, and product configuration.
Oversee NPI and improvement projects.
Establish and track KPIs for business success.
Manage the capex budget for capability and efficiency enhancements.
Skills:
Leadership in technical teams.
Knowledge of optomechanical systems and optoelectronics.
Experience with optical/mechanical design (SolidWorks PDM preferred).
Strong communication and mentoring abilities.
Experience in project management and capital planning.
Requirements:
15+ years in opto/electro-mechanical device engineering.
5+ years leading engineering teams.
BS in Engineering. Familiarity with US export compliance, ISO9000, project management, and LEAN manufacturing.
