Primary Services is actively recruiting for a Power Back Office Analyst to support a prestigious client in the energy industry. This role offers a unique chance to leverage your analytical and programming skills within a large, international company. You will play a key role in reconciling trades, managing margin calls, and providing critical support to trading operations.
Responsibilities:
Reconcile daily trades with exchanges, including executions on NYMEX and ICE, and clear swaps, OTC forwards, and options.
Control and initiate margin calls with the clearing broker.
Monitor and process invoices related to brokerage fees and paper derivatives billed to affiliates.
Participate in the Exchange for Physical (EFP) posting process.
Monitor and verify all daily paper activities to ensure they are within authorized limits.
Provide statistical results, trade analysis, and support to trading desks and management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Math, Finance, Energy, or a related field.
1-3 years of relevant experience.
Strong command of the English language.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency in programming languages such as VBA and Python.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Adaptable, diplomatic, and a team player.
