We are currently seeking a Scientist with the National Institutes of Health in Baltimore, MD.
This is a long-term contract position which offers:

TASKS. The contractor shall:
Conduct basic molecular biology and biochemistry experiments.
Prepare and analyze DNA, RNA, and chromatin from cell subsets.
Perform basic cell culture.
Design and execute CRISPR/Cas9-mediated genome editing in cell lines and mice.
Update and maintain laboratory notebooks and databases.
Attend laboratory meetings and present results and findings.
Coordinate maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment.
REQUIREMENTS. The contractor must have:
Ph.D. in a scientific field, preferably Biology.
Expertise in CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing.
Proficiency with the MS Office suite.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Proven experience in conducting molecular biology and biochemistry experiments.
Hands-on experience with cell culture techniques.
Strong ability to maintain detailed laboratory records and databases.
Effective communication skills for presenting research findings.
