Primarily responsible for achieving targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand within the supply chain.
Responsibilities
Identify and analyze sales trends and other demand influencing variables to build an efficient inventory plan.
Partner with sales (Wholesale and Consumer Experience), finance and supply planning to manage forecasted demand at SKU and facility level.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels for all raw materials and finished goods to ensure customer service levels are achieved and exceeded.
Manages production schedules to meet forecasted demand to achieve appropriate inventory levels.
Set up best in class demand planning processes that leverage both systematic generation and consensus process.
Collaborate with Operations management to achieve inventory optimization, schedule and planning efficiencies, meet customer expectations and supply chain improvement initiatives. Recommend capacity changes as needed.
Owns the demand planning process, including reporting aggregate plans to management on forecasts, assumptions, risks and opportunities.
Create demand plans for raw materials to be ordered and delivered to achieve production targets.
Measures forecast accuracy vs demand to highlight continuous improvement opportunities.
Active involvement in continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supply chain.
Perform other duties as it relates to the supply chain as needed.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
BS/BA in Supply Chain Management, Forecasting, or similar relevant field
7 years or more work experience as a Demand Planning Manager or similar role
Extremely high attention to detail.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP/MRP systems (e.g. NetSuite)
Ability to communicate effectively with any and all internal and external customers.
Preferred Skills
Preference will be given to candidates with working knowledge of NetSuite
