  • Manage carried interest calculations and maintain waterfall models and return profiles for investors.
  • Collaborate with third-party fund administrators to ensure all cash activity, transactions, and general ledger balances are reconciled, while preparing and distributing capital call and distribution notices.
  • Liaise with third-party tax consultants to ensure timely and accurate tax information for the funds.
  • Support annual audits by preparing the necessary documentation and reconciling fund accounting records.
  • Dive deep into fund documentation (PPM, LPAs, IMAs) to ensure full understanding and accurate application of fund terms.
  • Oversee the corporate P&L, tracking vendor relationships and expenses across legal, tax, accounting, and operational functions.
  • Assist with corporate treasury activities and contribute to financial strategy discussions.
  • Partner with Investor Relations to prepare investor communications, including capital statements, quarterly investor letters, and responses to investor inquiries.
  • Monitor fund performance, track financial results, and prepare analyses for investment professionals.

What We're Looking For:
  • Ownership & Leadership: A self-starter who takes full responsibility for their work, drives processes forward, and sets a high standard for excellence.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Someone who enjoys tackling challenges with creativity, using critical thinking to generate solutions.
  • Collaboration & Communication: A team player who engages confidently with senior management, investors, and external stakeholders, while also guiding and mentoring junior team members.
  • Analytical & Detail-Oriented: A professional who can dive into the numbers, spot trends, and communicate insights with precision.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in modern accounting tools and software, with a knack for using technology to streamline processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally within private equity, hedge funds, or related investment industries.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Xero).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with financial modeling experience.
  • Familiarity with SQL or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is highly valued.

What's in It for You:
  • Competitive compensation package with room for advancement.
  • Opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and have a tangible impact on the firm's success.
  • Exposure to a wide array of investment vehicles, providing valuable industry experience.
  • A dynamic, entrepreneurial work environment where your ideas and contributions will be valued.
