We currently have an opening for a Vice President, Agricultural Credit Services position in our Corporate office located in Columbus, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational management to the company's wholly owned loan subsidiary, which is Producers Credit Corporation.
Responsibilities include:
Oversee the organization's loan portfolio, which may include underwriting, risk assessment, and the loan approval process.
Develop and implement lending strategies that align with the organization's goals.
Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to the lending department, ensuring the team is trained and equipped to meet lending targets.
Maintain an active loan-servicing approach for existing borrowers.
Develop and maintain a strong new business development strategy.
Maintain an effective quality control system for the portfolio, including approval and delegated authorities in accordance with established management directives.
Develop the annual consolidated divisional operational plan.
Provide reports and updates to the Producers Credit Corporation and UPI's Board of Directors relative to the performance of Producers Credit Corporation.
Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, such as wholesale funding partners.
Required Qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics, Finance or related field;
Minimum of 10 years of proven and progressive portfolio management experience in agriculture lending, preferably in agricultural financing.
Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
Demonstrated experience in strategic management and implementation.
Must possess strong credit analytical skills to support lending decisions.
In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, problem credit resolution, and all applicable laws and regulations.
Working knowledge of loan risk rating, portfolio monitoring, asset recovery, and loan work outs.
Knowledge of production agriculture, livestock marketing, and industry practices preferred.
