CWCapital Asset Management (CW), the largest named special servicer of securitized commercial mortgages, is seeking a Portfolio Administrator to join its legal and compliance team. The Portfolio Administrator (PA) will play a key role in providing support to a team of asset managers in the servicing and administration of specially serviced commercial mortgages, with a focus on internal and external compliance requirements as CW's portfolio continues to expand in scale. Paralegal qualifications are preferred.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this position are a combination of administrative duties required for compliance with policies and procedures along with elements of contract review and external regulatory requirements. The role will focus on the use of CW's proprietary software platform, RealINSIGHT. Attention to detail is critical.
Work with special servicing team leadership and compliance officer to ensure accurate data management, tracking of deliverables, and organization of the specially serviced loan and REO portfolio.
Work with asset managers and RealINSIGHT power users to ensure all data in RealINSIGHT for performing and specially serviced loans is complete and accurate.
Work with legal and compliance team to track completion of appraisals, site inspections, other reports, and other relevant compliance projects.
Assist legal and compliance department with research and internal materials as needed.
Process and track asset funding and disbursement requests, drafting Officer Certificates as needed.
Work with compliance officer to track credit committee deliverables and results.
Prepare materials for internal asset reviews, working with RealINSIGHT to make process improvements and improve deliverables over time.
Use of data repository platforms as needed (Box, ILX,Sharefile, etc)
Perform post-closing duties associated with loan modifications and other workouts; ensure new loan terms are boarded in servicing systems, ensure all required notices and distribution of documents are disseminated
Notarize documents, reviewing signature blocks and case styling for accuracy.
The base salary range proposed for this role has been set forth to comply with local law, but salary is only one element of the total compensation for this role. The base salary range suggested above does not include compensation elements such as bonuses, overtime and deferred cash (each of which are applicable in certain roles), benefits, perquisites, and company contributions to employee 401(k) accounts. Such other pay components often result in total compensation materially exceeding base salary for a particular role. Total compensation as well as base salary for a role depend in part upon individual performance, years of service, experience, geographic considerations, the performance and the needs of particular business units, company performance, and general market conditions.
