Head of Social Media and Influencer Marketing

Our client is a leading luxury beauty & cosmetics brand dedicated to delivering exceptional products and experiences with a commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability that has positioned them as a trusted name in the beauty industry. They are seeking a Head of Social Media and Influencer Marketing to join their team to design, lead, execute and optimize their social media and influencer programs.

This role is based out of their Culver City, CA office and has a "hybrid" model, of work both in office, as well as from home / remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and optimize the affiliate marketing program to drive traffic, customer acquisition, and revenue.
  • Identify / recruit new affiliates and partnerships to expand the program's reach and effectiveness.
  • Write influencer briefs to support key marketing campaigns / ensure brand alignment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliates, providing support and resolving issues to maximize performance.
  • Monitor and analyze affiliate performance metrics, offering regular reporting and insights to enhance the program.
  • Create & execute on strategic plans to optimize the affiliate program in line with marketing and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to produce engaging promotional materials and campaigns for affiliates.
  • Manage the affiliate marketing budget, including forecasting, allocation, and monitoring of expenses to ensure profitability and return on investment (ROI).
  • Ensure the affiliate program adheres to industry regulations as well as company policies.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in social media and influencer marketing, preferably within the beauty, cosmetics, or lifestyle industries.
  • Proven success in building and executing large-scale social media and influencer campaigns.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, tools, and trends, with a data-driven approach to strategy optimization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams globally.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and continuously refine strategies.
