EdgeCore is seeking a Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), to join its growing Finance and Accounting team. This role will report to the Sr. Director, FP&A, and will be instrumental in driving financial and strategic analysis across various projects. The Manager, FP&A, will focus on building and maintaining financial models, supporting budget and forecast processes, and providing critical financial insights to support business decisions.
Develop, manage, and maintain financial models for existing assets and prospective investments, including projections for capital expenditure planning, income statements, cash flow analysis, and investment returns.
Assist in the coordination and preparation of capital projects, annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, covering revenue, expenses, EBITDA, and capital investments, while aligning with the company's overall financial strategy.
Support the creation of periodic capital approval requests, monthly and quarterly reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, with a focus on financial reporting, performance to budget, strategic narratives, KPI's, and operational metrics.
Generate and analyze variance reports, comparing actual performance against budgeted and forecasted results. Work closely with department leads and project managers to identify variance drivers and update forecasts accordingly.
Contribute to the underwriting and due diligence of prospective capital fundraisings, acquisitions, and development activities.
Support the implementation and management of financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and clarity in financial reporting.
Participate in developing and presenting critical financial matters to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
Assist in managing the company's financial reporting on both operational cash flow and capital investments.
Collaborate with the analyst team (Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Accounts Payable, etc.) to streamline fiscal functions and improve processes related to budget, forecast, and reporting tools.
Perform additional duties as required by evolving business needs.
Your Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
4-6 years of experience in an FP&A or similar finance-related role, with a strong preference for experience in data centers, telecom, construction, real estate, private equity, or investment banking.
A strategic thinker with a robust understanding of finance and GAAP accounting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, with the ability to build and manage complex financial models.
Proven experience driving or leading budget cycles is highly advantageous and considered a significant plus.
Experience with construction budget management and budget management systems considered a significant plus
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven information in a clear and compelling manner.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with tact and discretion.
A team player with a natural curiosity and eagerness to learn and grow in the role.
Flexibility and a strong sense of urgency, with the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

Base salary range is $115,000 - $140,000, depending on experience
