Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Marketing Manager to join our team at Texas Tamale Co. This role will be pivotal in driving our digital content strategy, focusing on advertising, social media, online product placement, and vendor management. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with a passion for food marketing and a proven track record in digital strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Digital Content Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive digital content strategies that highlight Texas Tamale Co.'s unique offerings, focusing on engaging and informative content across multiple platforms.
  • Advertising Management: Create, manage, and optimize online advertising campaigns (PPC, social media ads) to drive brand awareness and sales, targeting grocery store shoppers and food enthusiasts.
  • Social Media Oversight: Lead our social media strategy, including content creation, influencer management, scheduling, community engagement, and performance analytics. Foster partnerships with food influencers to amplify brand visibility and engagement.
  • Online Product Placement: Collaborate with grocery store partners to secure optimal online product placements on their websites, enhancing product visibility and driving online sales.
  • Marketing Strategy Development: Work closely with the marketing team to design strategic marketing plans that align with business objectives, focusing on reaching and engaging our target audience.
  • Sales Support: Provide the sales team with necessary marketing materials, training, and support to enhance their outreach and strengthen client relationships.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies, ensuring timely project delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Public Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with trade publications and media outlets to promote Texas Tamale Co.'s brand and products, securing press coverage and enhancing brand reputation
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics related to marketing initiatives. Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve campaign performance.
  • General Responsibilities: Stay informed about industry trends, digital marketing best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance overall marketing efforts.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, content creation, and strategy development, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, influencer marketing, online advertising, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with SEO, email marketing, and CRM tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for food and consumer marketing.
