Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a traditional marketing team of 5+
  • Track team performance to meet and surpass KPIs
  • Plan and execute ROI driven traditional marketing campaign strategies
  • Manage and backup marketing events (100+ a year) including dinner seminars, in-house social events, Lunch and Learns and large promotional events
  • Oversee the development and distribution of creative content and promotional materials
  • Foster communication and collaboration between marketing subdivisions
  • Report KPIs and overall results to Marketing Director
  • Develop and optimize budgets pertaining to events and traditional media - monitoring expenses along the way
  • Oversee outreach and external communication efforts to build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and advertising partners
  • Respond to media inquiries and manage crisis communication as necessary
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitive landscape
  • Speak publicly as needed at marketing events

Experience and Competencies - For success in this role

  • 5+ years of experience in a traditional marketing role(s) i.e. Event Planning, PR and/or Media Buying
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and growing a traditional marketing team
  • Strong knowledge of traditional marketing channels including events, print, broadcast, radio, mail, and outdoor advertising
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple project at once
  • Proficiency in using marketing analytics tools and software
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients
  • Must be a go-getter, team-player, and hungry for knowledge and growth!
  • Tech-savvy with the ability and willingness to learn new systems, softwares and processes
