Position: • You will interact with Leadership, Office, Shop and Field personnel, customers vendors insuring successful delivery of products and services in accordance with contractual, safety and regulatory requirements. • Knowledge about HVAC systems and terminology • Knowledge of Construction accounting. • Work in process (WIP). • MS Office Suite • Accuracy and attention to detail and ability to multi-task. • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills a must. • Ability to prioritize and problem-solve. • Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
Key Responsibilities • Reading plans and specifications to understand project requirements. • Generate cost estimates utilizing Quote Soft Software for sheet metal HVAC projects. • Attend Pre-Bid Meeting / Walk-Through / Survey. • Prepare change order proposals. • Develop and support client relationships. • Sales and negotiations. • Work as a team with other estimators, project team, and other company departments. • Prepare proposal letter including the scope of work, inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications. • Consistent customer follow-up for feedback on bid/proposal, reporting results to management.
