What You'll Do:
Route and coordinate deliveries and pick-ups of electrical products, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Strategically develop the most cost-effective, efficient routes while keeping service needs top of mind.
Work collaboratively with the logistics team to continually monitor and optimize routes for improved efficiency.
Proactively identify and seize opportunities to reduce logistics costs, driving success for the company.
Create daily manifests and ensure invoices match accurately for smooth operations.
Communicate seamlessly with customers, vendors, and internal teams to handle requests and tasks with precision.
Maintain and update detailed spreadsheets and logs, keeping everything organized.
Occasionally assist in receiving, placing, picking, packing, loading, and unloading products as needed.
Coordinate outbound shipments through UPS with ease.
What You Bring to the Table:
A high school diploma is required, with some college education preferred.
General knowledge of warehouse operations and experience in logistics.
A strong sense of urgency and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills.
Familiarity with routing software and solid geographic knowledge of Chicago and its surrounding areas.
A proactive problem solver who can think independently and make confident decisions.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, UPS systems, and general internet use.
Ability to occasionally lift packages up to 50 lbs. when needed.
