Position Overview
Our team is currently looking for a Senior Analyst (Corporate Insurance) in the Oil and Gas industry for one of our clients.
Senior Analyst in Insurance Department part of Treasury/CFO organization. Senior Analyst supports the Director of Corporate Insurance who is responsible for company worldwide insurance, claims and captive functions.
o Invoice processing • Contract review, negotiation and cross functional interaction • Coverage analysis and claims administration • Administration of budgets, forecasts, allocations and documentation, etc. • Administration of Captive and International insurance arrangements • Project work: M&A, Divestitures, Spin-Offs, Corp. Re-structures, Litigation requirements, CAR, New/Changing Objectives
Competencies • Knowledge of corporate and international insurance programs
o Knowledge of energy industry - E&P, Power, Utility, Pipelines, etc - a plus • Self-starter who can take tasks/projects from initiation to conclusion • Ability to work independently with limited supervision • Well organized and detail oriented • Ability to forge strong business partner relationships within and outside of the company • Strong oral & written communication abilities • Power Point, Word, Excel proficiency • Builds Trusted Relationships • Develops Talent • Creates Effective Teams • Thinks Strategically • Inspires Innovation • Demonstrates Courage • Drives Continuous Improvement • Makes Quality Decisions • Delivers High Performance
Qualifications (Education, Experience, & Skills) • 5 years relevant corporate risk management, underwriting or brokerage • Bachelor's Degree required/Masters will be considered • ARM, CPCU preferred
