Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
Negotiate contracts with external vendors and subcontractors
Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
Reading and understanding all Construction Documents
Procurement of Materials & Sub Contractor agreements
Accurate quantity take offs to reach thorough estimate
Tracking production & identifying change orders
Management of all project documents
Responsible for controlling and minimizing risk on projects.
Work Close with Site Supervisor and Site Engineer for the programming and resourcing projects
Contract management
Quality Assurance and ITP
Development of Site-specific management plans and methodologies
Development and mentoring of Site Engineers
Preparing and submitting all claims and tax invoices
Cost tracking of the project
Overseeing all project procurements
Pricing and negotiating all variations
Responsible for the WHSEQ on site, and where required, undertake inspections for compliance against policies and procedures
Client management and business development
Provide monthly project report to the Divisional Manager detailing all financial, program, risk, delays, or any other major issues on the project
Liaison with Site Supervisors
Assisting supervisors where necessary on HR issues
Liaison with Divisional Administrator to ensure all admin, invoicing, financial reporting, quality, and HR monthly reporting requirements are met
Oversee Subcontractors to ensure compliance e.g. having appropriate licenses, insurances, working under subcontractor terms of engagement.
