Job Description:

This is a hybrid position with regular office days in the Seattle headquarters.

Who you are: You have at least seven years experience as a network administrator, managing cybersecurity ecosystems and endpoints, and know the fundamentals of the MS technology stack and other backend systems. You have cloud service network admin experience and have migrated on-prem datacenters to the cloud. While you have all the nerdy behind-the-scenes talent, you should also enjoy talking to people and delighting your customers, because youll be interacting with users on escalated Help Desk tickets and in-office support for the Seattle headquarters.

What the job is: The Network Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the companys success from behind the scenes. Youll work in a small team to keep our systems connected, our data safe, and our company productive. Since we are a small team, you will wear many hats, handling network, security, phone, and telecom infrastructure, but also responding to more challenging Help Desk tickets and being the on-the-ground support for the Seattle office.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

Network Administration: Perform standard network configuration and troubleshooting, monitoring and maintenance.

Continuous Improvement: Evaluates new network and IP telephony technology for continuous improvement. Plans and executes the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment.

Secures our Network: Collaborates on the design and build of the Business Continuity Disaster Recovery plan. Ensures ongoing security through updates and upgrades, and backups.

Documents our Technology: Maintains accurate and current LAN/WAN network/phone/ telecom inventory and technical documentation. Maintains documentation and aggregation of support issues, resolution, and root cause.

Supports our Users: Serves as support for issues escalated through the Help Desk related to all network, security, phone, and telecom infrastructure (hardware, software and telecom) with the primary focus on the downtown Seattle corporate office.

Wears Many Hats: Provides back-up support to Systems Administrator. Participates in after-hours infrastructure support, including audio/visual support for executive offsite meetings.

They know how to laugh, empathize, and get to work, operating very well as a team. Team members work in northern CA, WA, and MT and frequently gather over video to collaborate and communicate.

Compensation: The hourly pay range for this role is $47.01 $70.52. Exemption status under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) may be subject to review or adjustment. The pay range listed is just one component of Green Diamonds total compensation package.
