Wypall® is the largest B2B wiper brand globally with high brand recognition and loyalty. To maintain and grow our Wypall® brand we need an experienced marketing professional that can create the short- and long-term vision for our wiper brands. As Innovation Manager, Brand & Insights for the wipers category, you will lead with understanding our user & chooses drivers, competition, personas, competitive landscapes, value proposition, brand foundation tools, customer journey and market trends to inform our innovation pipeline and build a robust front end innovation pathway.  This role will also create the commercialization & digital strategy with CX & Marketing team to ensure we are successfully transitioning as the customer buying landscape changes, while supporting the wipers category team to successfully translate the strategy in a wining in-market execution.  This role reports to the Senior Manager of Global Brand & Customer Strategy – Wipers.

In this role, you will:


  • Lead brand foundation work for the category and build the brand led innovation framework required to create the innovation pathway.


  • Lead and participate in several wiper innovation projects at the same time to generate robust commercialization plans including claims and value propositions.


  • Work closely with NA Wipers peers to bring to life the key accountabilities of this role in every wipers initiative.


  • Coach, develop and guide peers within NA wipers team on brand building, brand led innovation principles and portfolio architecture development.


  • Partner and collaborate with Market Research, Category Marketing and CX & Marketing, to build the right framework for brand led innovation, creative platforms, and commercialization programs.


  • Ensure Voice of Customer is accounted in all work and creating value for WypAll® with end users and distribution.


  • Manage project communication flow to ensure cadence of clear communication with key stakeholders and project sponsors.

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in marketing / brand management / category roles with a demonstrated track record of achievement and growth in leadership behavior.


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)


  • Brand Marketing background with proven track record for success


  • Strong understanding and ability to manage brand foundation tools, claim development and brand led innovation.


  • Ability to integrate brand and category vision and strategy, with strong customers’ insights, to build compelling commercial programs that address relevant customer needs and generate growth for the category.


  • High business & organizational acumen: understanding of market dynamics, P&L management & commercial mindset.


  • Strong analytics skills to translate customers’ insights into actionable recommendations for brand and category growth.


  • Structured Problem Solving: Brings structure to ambiguous problems and possesses the ability to frame key questions and develop a workplan to answer them.


  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Proven track record of driving positive change across multiple functions, including Market Research, Category Marketing and CX & Marketing, with proven influencing skills.


  • Entrepreneur, can-do attitude to find ways to break down growth barriers and ability to navigate and perform in ambiguous circumstances.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Masters/MBA with concentration in marketing or engineering


  • Experience in a B2B environment.


  • Experience working in agile work environment, inclusive of leading and being a team member on scrum team.
