Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Equipment Maintenance Engineer located in Milpitas, CA.

Reporting to the Senior Process Engineering Manager, the Equipment Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as conveyor systems and production machines and equipment. Maintains and troubleshoots in-circuit and functional testers, associated test fixtures, stress chambers and chamber racks to ensure manufacturing test equipment is on-line.

What a typical day looks like:


  • Through troubleshooting, identifies machine malfunctions and isolates the failure mechanism and recovery activities.


  • Create Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Preventive Maintenance Procedure (PM), Preventive Maintenance Checklists and Standard Worksheet.


  • Plan and execute PM with customer’s module and equipment engineers and own the relationship with equipment vendor servicing department.


  • Create a centralized portal to track PM record, equipment servicing history, monitor PM service schedule, and archive service reports.


  • Coordinate New Equipment Installation & Training Schedule (Vendor).


The experience we’re looking to add to our team:


  • Bachelor of Science Degree with an Engineering emphasis.


  • 3 plus years of experience in a factory or manufacturing environment.


  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.
