Your role:




Develop and establish robust demand planning methodology and processes


  • Design & implement KPIs & leading metrics on demand and pipeline health using historical data analyses as well as forward looking market and business intelligence

  • Continuously advance demand planning and forecasting processes and methodologies to improve understanding of demand scenarios and their translation into capacity needs and financial projections



Orchestrate demand planning process


  • Lead demand planning, collect and synthesize data and establish consensus for both constrained and unconstrained demand plans by modality / technology incl. scenario planning and documentation of planning assumptions

  • Support translation of modality strategies into long range plan to enable capacity review and investment planning

  • Build trust in demand plans by working to continuously improve data quality, analyzing overall trends and variations and drive corrective actions / improvements

  • Host Demand Reviews per modality and lead S&Op process for CDMO business as part of IBM framework

  • Ensure overall alignment between the demand plan / pipeline and relevant capacity planning across all CDMO manufacturing sites

  • Ensure consolidation of production scheduling work across all CDMO manufacturing sites

  • Provide support to capacity analysis and risk assessment

  • Own quarterly Forecasting process

  • Owns and orchestrates monthly modality S&OP reviews, quarterly forecasting process, coordinating between Commercial, Finance, CPM and LSS Supply Chain team

  • Build up demand realization / forecast accuracy reporting and track commercial actions


Stakeholder management



  • Ability to influence without authority across the matrix

  • Works collaboratively and cross-functionally with LSS teams

  • Cooperation

  • Collection of commercial demand from CDMO commercial and Customer Project Management teams and communication as well as collaboration on translation into action with the CDMO sites and the CDMO Operations head as well as the LSS E2E Supply chain team (ISCO)

  • Partnering with Commercial Excellence to improve structured demand capture via SFDC, improve data quality and implement automated reporting of critical demand-related KPIs

  • Partners with the CDMO Business head and Controlling Business Partners to establish consensus for demand and quarterly financial forecasts

  • Supporting the Global Business Lead and Modality Leadership teams in translating of the modality strategies into robust long-range plans

  • LSS IBM Lead will provide/support with guidance, best practices & global framework; collaboration to establish a smooth E2E S&OP process




Who you are



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, CDMO Project Management or related/equivalent field. Advance degree preferred

  • At least 7 years of industry experience

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, drive to succeed, motivator of people

  • A deep knowledge of the CDMO / Services business is desirable

  • Ability to influence without authority across the matrix

  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and summarize recommendations based on large data sets

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

  • Proven track-record in establishing teamwork across process & geographical boundaries

  • Understanding of demand planning and supply chain process is a plus

  • Possess strong business acumen

  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to influence & say how it is at all levels

  • Strong collaborator & stakeholder management skills
