Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user interface and user experience design, with specific experience in the media and entertainment sector. You will be responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that enhance the user experience across our digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and user needs
Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts
Ensure designs are consistent with brand guidelines and industry best practices
Iterate on designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights
Stay up to date with the latest design trends and technologies
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable working experience in lieu of a degree
3+ years of experience in UI/UX design within the media and entertainment industry
Experience with motion design and animation
Experience conducting user research and usability testing
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Familiarity with media production workflows and technologies
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
Strong portfolio showcasing your design work and process
Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
