PC Refresh Technician




Sterling Heights, MI




Contract Position




Pay: $29.11-$32.11/hr




Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. As a prime mover in ground force capabilities, this firm provides innovative solutions that ensure the safety and effectiveness of military personnel worldwide, focusing on durability, mobility, and performance.




Responsibilities:

• Schedule, image, install, test, and deploy new PCs to users as part of the PC Refresh program.


• Reclaim and document prior equipment, assisting with disposal processes.


• Troubleshoot hardware issues during installation to ensure user readiness.


• Investigate and resolve desktop operating system and software issues.


• Communicate effectively with users and management about the PC Refresh schedule and deployment status.

Qualifications:

• 
  Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.


• 
  Experience: 1-3 years of desktop support services experience.


• Certifications such as A+ or Microsoft certifications (MC) are a plus.


• Technical knowledge of hardware, including desktops, laptops, tablets, workstations, and PC components.


• Hands-on troubleshooting experience with hardware from Dell, EMC, Cisco, and other leading brands.


• Familiarity with current operating systems, protocols, and standards.


• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and documentation.


• Valid driver's license and ability to work in various environments, including heavy manufacturing settings.
