Job Description:

The primary role of the Customer Success Associate (CSA) is to prospect for new customers by networking, cold calling, gaining referrals, or other means of generating interest from potential new customers that are in alignment with Essentialware's target market. They develop rapport with new accounts, current and dormant accounts, identify quote opportunities and provide support that will continually improve the relationship and lead to new business.

Strategic planning is a key part of this job description, since it is the CSA's responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming into the company.

The main duties of the Customer Success Associate can be summarized as follows:

Business Development
• Meet / exceed prospecting activity metrics for new customers and convert into new business.
  • Source potential customers by growing and leveraging network of industry contacts and identify the decision makers within their organization.
  • Set capability introduction meetings with potential customers and involve Essentialware's support resources as necessary to maximize first impression.
  • Work with team as necessary to prepare competitively priced quotes that properly address the customer's needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Act with urgency in following up with customer requests, new product tests, RFP's, inbound inquiries, etc.

Customer Retention:
• Establish and maintain relationships at all customer contact levels to create partnership-style interaction.
• Ensure customers have full understanding of Essentialware's capabilities and present new products/services.
• Identify new product opportunities within current clients.
• Ensure orders are accurate and complete and service expectations are met or exceeded.
• Monitor customer ordering trends to ensure low buy/no buy issues are identified and acted upon.

Strategic Planning:
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market trends.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, partner relationships, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, build upon the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Understand and support the company's goal and purpose.

Administration
  • Submit or share CRM internal weekly progress reports as requested
  • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company's CRM.
  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities and ensure they are met.
  • Track and record all sales activity to provide a centralized hub for all account communication history and notes.

Job Requirements:
• 3-5 years of sales/account management experience meeting / exceeding activity and sales goals.
• Ability to travel up to 10% on an as needed basis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in using Social Selling, MS Office, CRM and ERP software.
• Ability to work in a remote environment both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
