Our client is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team! This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.
Duties:
Learn and understand the investigative process of the various VTRAC teams to ultimately understand the priorities and tradeoffs of their business
Utilize considerable creativity to merge ideation, knowledge of systems, and insights from SMEs to propose projects that are meaningful and actionable
Partner with team and non-team members to understand customer requests, develop use cases, assess project feasibility, creating timelines and milestones for the project, and validating project deliverables
Maintain and contribute to the teams knowledge base
Stay up-to-date on new features for deployed and emergent technologies
Desired Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
3+ years of Python programming experience and a willingness to learn
2+ years of relevant work experience
Proven experience with Neo4j database design and development
Understanding of Object-Oriented design methodologies
Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and self-motivation
Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple work assignments simultaneously
