SUMMARY

As a Demand Planner at Gozney, you will be at the forefront of driving our demand planning strategy, ensuring that our supply chain is aligned with our business goals. You will leverage your expertise in data analysis, market trends, and forecasting to develop and refine demand forecasts that support our dynamic product lineup. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and supply planning, you will ensure that our inventory strategies and product launches are optimally planned and executed. Your role will be integral in shaping the forecasting process, enhancing accuracy, and supporting our Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) efforts to maintain Gozney's commitment to innovation and excellence.

RESPONSABILITIES

Analyze and Forecast:
  • Review historical sales data, research demand drivers, and prepare forecast data to develop sophisticated statistical models. Evaluate forecast outcomes to ensure accuracy and identify trends.

Demand Forecasting:
  • Create comprehensive demand forecasts for both units and revenue, utilizing various levels of aggregation. Incorporate insights from micro and macro market trends to ensure robust forecasting.

Sales Data Monitoring:
  • Continuously monitor sales data and retail inputs, adjusting forecasts in real-time to reflect the latest market trends and insights.

Data Management:
  • Oversee and refine data hierarchies, ensuring a clean and accurate historical data set that supports precise forecasting.

Collaborative Forecasting:
  • Lead monthly collaboration meetings with sales, product, and cross-functional teams to align on product and forecast requirements. Ensure all stakeholders are informed and involved in the forecasting process.

CPFR Process:
  • Actively contribute to the Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) process by partnering with sales, sales operations, marketing, and customers to utilize current and accurate data in demand planning.

New Product Launches:
  • Develop and implement a New Product Launch Forecast process in collaboration with product and sales leaders, ensuring successful market introduction.

Supply Planning Collaboration:
  • Provide critical input to the Supply Planning team to help develop inventory strategies for existing products, new product launches, and product end-of-life cycles.

S&OP Preparation:
  • Assist in preparing materials and insights for the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings with internal leadership, contributing to strategic decision-making.

Forecast Accuracy Reviews:
  • Conduct post-mortem analyses of forecasts, identifying areas for improvement and implementing actions to enhance future forecast accuracy.

Sales Support Reporting:
  • Generate and distribute key reports for sales teams to aid in decision-making related to forecasting and planning.

Vendor Forecasting:
  • Collaborate with Supply Planning to develop and maintain a vendor-facing purchase forecast, ensuring alignment and readiness across the supply chain.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, operations, or equivalent specialized education and training.
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong data manipulation skills, with the ability to analyze complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance and prioritize the needs of operations, sales, and finance, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven track record of engaging effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
