Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated Certified HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to oversee the HVAC and refrigeration systems at McDonald's locations in the Northwest Illinois and Southwest Wisconsin area. This role requires expertise in maintaining, repairing, and optimizing HVAC and refrigeration systems in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all HVAC and refrigeration equipment operates efficiently and meets industry standards. • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems across multiple McDonald's locations. • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to prevent system failures and improve efficiency. • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration system issues, providing effective and timely solutions. • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards. • Maintain accurate records of service work, including parts used and time spent. • Communicate professionally with McDonald's management and staff regarding HVAC and refrigeration system performance and necessary repairs. • Respond to emergency refrigeration service requests as needed.
Qualifications: • Valid HVAC and refrigeration certification (e.g., NATE, EPA Section 608). • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC and Refrigeration Technician, preferably with commercial systems. • Proven expertise in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair. • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple locations. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. • Competitive annual salary • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance. • Paid time off. • Company tools provided. • Free and discounted meals. • Ongoing training and career development opportunities.
