Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar SCADA Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain SCADA systems for solar projects
Configure and troubleshoot communication protocols including Modbus, DNP3, and MQTT
Create and maintain system documentation using MS Visio
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
Conduct system testing and commissioning
Provide technical support for SCADA systems
Implement cybersecurity measures to keep the systems secure
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and implementing SCADA systems
Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, protocols, and standards
Experience with Solar SCADA systems
Proficiency in Modbus, DNP3, and MQTT protocols
Familiarity with MS Visio and N3uron
Nice to have: experience with Wonderware, HMI, ISA 18.2, OPC, Modicon, PLC, Rockwell, SEL RTAC, SSH, and Telnet
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
