Position: Superintendent - Industrial/Institutional Background, Piping, Mechanical, HVAC

Position Overview
The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of a construction project, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in safety, mechanical piping, and project management, with experience in industrial, institutional, and/or HVAC construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all construction activities on the project site
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines
  • Oversee and manage the mechanical piping and HVAC systems installation
  • Manage and track project progress, costs, and schedules
  • Monitor and maintain quality control throughout the construction process
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Communicate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise on the project site
  • Ensure that the project is completed within budget and on schedule
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial, institutional, or HVAC construction
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines
  • Experience with project management software and tools
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of cost control and budget management
  • Experience with quality management processes
