Position Overview: The Tax Manager will be responsible for providing tax planning, compliance, and consulting services to high net worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review Federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, and gifts
Provide tax planning strategies to assist clients in minimizing tax liabilities with emphasis on legal and IRS regulations
Develop and maintain client relationships
Respond to IRS notices and requests for information
Manage client tax projects and deadlines
Research tax issues
Develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients
Advise clients on the choice of entity and tax-efficient strategies
Identify and research tax savings opportunities
Represent clients during audits.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
CPA required
Generalist experience is a Plus
1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041, and 990 experience
Manufacturing industry experience a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and time management skills.
