We're looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. If you have a passion for design and a drive to innovate, this is your opportunity!
Key Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent
Experience: Minimum of 3 years designing parts for manufacturing
Skills:
Familiarity with metal fabrication processes, including sheet metal, machining, castings, and weldments.
Proficient in CAD software and FEA
Part Tolerancing, GD&T experience is a plus
Strong problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills
Proactive and detail-oriented with ability to effectively multitask
A strong understanding of Mechanical Design and Material Analysis
Primary Responsibilities:
Design mechanical components and assemblies
Assemble and test prototypes. evaluate results
Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges
Document and maintain new designs
Participate in sourcing of custom designed parts and purchased components
Additional Responsibilities:
Oversee design changes through the change order process
Conduct continuous value analysis of parts and assemblies
Provide suggestions to enhance manufacturing productivity
Collaborate with BTE's Production, Quality, Customer Service, Creative, and Clinical Departments
Improve products and processes within the company, as well as research new and emerging technologies for products
Experience with human factors and biomechanics is a plus
