Job Description:

A partner of Insight Global is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering and extensive experience with facility systems. This role requires an individual who can plan and execute and lead expansions and ensure that all systems continue to remain functioning efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain the functionality of building systems, including compressed air, electrical , UPS, Transformers, control panels, exhaust, waste water treatment systems, Deionized Water generation and Industrial Air handlers
  • Ensure the connectivity and integration of various building systems to optimize plant operations.
  • Manage and maintain process cooling water systems, nitrogen supply, gas and chemical distribution infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to support the design, installation, and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to personnel on mechanical systems and equipment

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including compressed air, electricity, control panels, exhaust, waste/water systems, and connectivity.
  • Basic understanding of building design and architecture and a working knowledge of CAD.
  • Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to mechanical systems and building specifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven experience with Facility Utility Matrix, Waste Water Treatment, CDA, PCW, and Gas and Chemical Delivery Systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting building schematics and layouts
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in facility management.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
