Title: Applications Engineer
Office Location: Phoenix, AZ
Remote/hybrid working schedule
Full-time, direct hire
Background Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Ongoing Product Training: Commitment to continual product training to maintain effectiveness in the role.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of programming, networks, and software.
PLC and Motion Control Knowledge: Familiarity with PLCs and motion control is strongly desired.
Mitsubishi Experience: Previous experience with Mitsubishi products is highly beneficial.
Programming Languages: Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Python, and .NET is a plus.
Job Responsibilities
Mitsubishi Product Support: Deepen knowledge of Mitsubishi products to support various initiatives and act as a technical resource for the sales team.
Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and testing of electromechanical automation systems, leveraging software, programming, electrical, and mechanical expertise.
Collaborative Solutions: Work with team members to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
Pre-Sales and Post-Sale Engagement: Participate in pre-sales and post-sale activities, including developing proposals and troubleshooting to ensure customer satisfaction.
Training and Market Research: Provide training on product functionality to the sales team and conduct market research on company products and competitors.
Product Configuration and Quoting Tools: Configure products using various software tools and create efficient quoting tools to support pricing strategies.
