Our client, a world-renowned hospital, is seeking a Facilities Manager for DIRECT HIRE! In this role, you will provide professional leadership, coordination, and support to the designated project teams, as well as ensuring that all projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and meeting all program objectives and appropriate governmental regulations.
Responsibilities:
Manage, and coordinate facility services to include but not limited to parking, security, cleaning, landscaping, building system & equipment maintenance services, fire life safety, emergency response
Actively seek ways to improve cost efficiencies, including management of purchased services, forecasting, and variance reporting
Directly responsible for the financial management of cost centers in their portfolios
Perform regular site or zone inspections for conditions and safety
Assists in the development of policies, guidelines, standards, and acts as the department representative on committees and professional organizations
Assesses and documents project scope and program, describing the objectives, physical requirements, parameters, and constraints of the project
Prepares and maintains accurate, timely, and auditable project records/files, and cost estimates
Oversees project management as needed for cosmetic upgrades. Manages labor pool to coordinate facility requests as applicable
Qualifications:
4+ years of directly related work experience
Bachelor's degree is highly preferred
Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
