Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
5+ years of experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Engineering experience working with a physical product (not IT) within manufacturing
AUTOCAD or Solidworks experience
Plusses:
Experience in wastewater or wastewater equipment

Day to Day:
A client is looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join their team in Lake Mary, Florida! This person will be responsible for the following:
Product Design and Maintenance:
Develop and maintain standard engineering, fabrication, assembly, and installation drawings for tanks, PLCs, controls, pumps, blowers, and other components.
Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and company specifications.
Create and maintain electrical schematics and component specifications
Develops and maintains SOPs for all equipment.
Component Selection:
Evaluate and select appropriate pumps, blowers, sensors, and other components based on performance requirements, cost, life-cycle cost and reliability.
Work with suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality components and materials.
Operational and Maintenance Documentation:
Develop comprehensive O&M manuals for both operational processes and mechanical components.
Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, and tailored to the needs of installers, operators, and maintenance personnel.
Training and Support:
Provide training and technical support to assembly and fabrication companies, installers and field technicians on product fabrication, assembly, installation, operation, and maintenance.
Conduct regular workshops and hands-on training sessions to improve technical competencies across the team.
Review and qualifies current and new assemblers and installers.
Quality Control and Continuous Improvement:
Oversee quality control processes to ensure that all products meet required standards and specifications.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, reduce costs, and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and operations teams to develop new product features and enhancements.
Participate in the evaluation and testing of new technologies and materials to drive product innovation.
Project Management:
Manage product engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
Prepare project reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate progress to stakeholders.
Business Development:
Supports Business Development group by developing standard and special project cost models.
Develops technical, commissioning and O&M offering approach for proposals being offered by Business Development group.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all products comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures for product handling, installation, and maintenance
