American Transmission Co. is seeking an Operations Engineer to perform transmission reliability studies to support expansion, maintenance, and other operating conditions at ATC. The Operations Engineer will work with the System Operations department to successfully meet ATC's generator and load interconnection customer's needs in a reliable and safe manner. Additionally, the Operations Engineer will work with internal groups to address transmission issues and to develop plans that ensure the safety and reliability of ATC's bulk transmission power system while maintaining compliance with applicable reliability standards.

Performance Objectives: • Maintain job descriptions and partner with engineering personnel to ensure that studies and plans put in place match the safety and reliability regulations • Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to the System Operations department to ensure operating conditions are integrated to current practices • Research and implement new, emerging studies to keep ATC as a top utility provider
