Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or Certification such as CCNP, PCNSE, CCSA, CCSE or AWS Certified Advanced Networking
5 years of experience and/or certifications in one or more of the following technologies: Cisco Systems; Aruba Wireless; Extreme Wireless; Cisco Wireless; Cisco Meraki Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching Good oral and written communication skills
Experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or Network Operations Security Center (NOSC) environment including help desk, customer communication, trouble ticketing, and issue resolution.
Experience with network technologies like LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewalls;
Experience with network security architecture like the NETTN including Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center, Cisco Firepower NGFW firewalls, AAA, 802.1x, VPN deployments, STIG implementation and verification, Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRI).
Telecommunications - Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems.
Thorough knowledge of the TCP IP protocol suite, IP subnets and masking, and routing protocols.
Routing configuration in IPV4 and IPV6
Understanding of DNS, SMTP, NNTP, DHCP, Firewalls and VPN (IPSEC). Understanding of the technology behind routers, hubs, bridges, and switches Understanding of remote access servers and terminal servers
Exceptional customer service skills • Communications Skills - oral and written Familiarity with IT/OT security concepts
Familiarity of Open API and data modeling verification and development.
Open Source tools development, implementation, and collaboration experience.
Thorough knowledge of the TCP IP protocol suite, IP subnets and masking, and routing protocols.
