Job Title: Land Development Project Manager

Location: Position can be based out of any of the Wisconsin offices (Madison, Milwaukee, Waukesha, Kenosha)

Job Summary: They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Land Development Project Manager to oversee and manage a range of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site grading, water main, sanitary sewer systems, stormwater management, and erosion control. This role requires expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, excellent project management skills, and the ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects from conception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Land Development: Oversee land development activities including site grading, infrastructure design, and construction oversight. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Water Main, Sanitary Sewer, and Stormwater Management: Design, plan, and implement systems for water mains, sanitary sewers, and stormwater management. Conduct feasibility studies and system analyses to ensure efficient and sustainable infrastructure.
  • Erosion Control: Develop and implement erosion control plans to mitigate environmental impact and ensure regulatory compliance during construction.
  • Permitting: Navigate and manage the permitting process for various projects. Prepare and submit necessary documentation and liaise with regulatory agencies to secure required approvals.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular updates and manage client communications effectively.
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and storm water modeling software to design and model civil engineering projects. Ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals, contractors, various jurisdictions, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless project execution and resolution of any issues that arise.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage projects effectively, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Client Relations: Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining client relationships, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and solutions.
