Millennium Corporation is hiring a Software Test Engineer to work in a hybrid capacity in Bedford, Massachusetts. The candidate must possess an active Secret security clearance to be considered.
The Software Test Engineer will:
Assume responsibility for test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end- user operational testing.
Plan and conduct test programs.
Independently prepare criteria, computation/analyses, specifications, cost estimates test plans, and technical reports in the specific area of technical expertise.
Review and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from accomplishment of test engineering tasks
Evaluate the configuration, capability, and operational relevance of test environments and ensure they are properly available for the thorough testing of software releases (e.g. fault insertion/fault identification)
Deconflict schedule conflicts between multiple releases, providing high quality analysis and recommendations to the program test lead.
Provide T&E technical and engineering support by documenting the review, test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end-user operational testing.
Utilize and apply Design of Experiments methods to plan and conduct test programs.
Prepare (or advise others in the preparation of) criteria, computation/analyses, specifications, cost estimates test plans, and technical reports in the specific area of technical expertise.
Select and apply engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problem, data, or other features of the work which are broad in scope and complexity.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have an active Secret Clearance.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a similar field.
A minimum of 7 years of experience, 5 of which must be in the DOD space
Experience with Agile methods, including testing methods for CI/CD, DevSecOps and DevOps.
Experience with either of these frameworks or testing methods: Page Object Model, Behavior Driven Development, Data Driven Testing, Hybrid Framework, Functional, System, Regression, End-to-End, or User Acceptance.
