The QTI Group is partnering with a Madison-based financial organization to hire a contract Software Testing Lead. This role will play a crucial part in the replacement and updating of a banking mobile application and will oversee and manage all testing activities, ensuring all quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
Develop testing plans and strategies
Lead, mentor and collaborate with testing team as they uncover defects
Partner with Business Analysts to ensure processes and standards align with best practices
Ensure defects are cataloged and tracked appropriately
Facilitate status meetings, working session and triage meetings with appropriate parties to update on testing efforts
Qualifications:
Strong technical background, including previous leadership experience in a testing environment
Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
Experience with testing methodologies for mobile applications
Experience in project management tools such as Jira, Wrike, etc...
Agile (Scrum, Kanban) experience in a software development setting
