We have an opportunity for an ambitious, self motivated person to join our forward thinking team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for the mechanical design of our environmental test chambers. You will work closely alongside our refrigeration and electrical engineers provisioning your design to accommodate all electrical and refrigeration components. Your contribution will be pivotal in ensuring projects hit all timing and fiscal benchmarks. You will be expected to develop designs, propose solutions, and generate BOM's, accurately and efficiently. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on some very interesting projects for industry leading clients. This will all be accomplished with the latest technology and the full support of engineering, manufacturing, and service.

Primary responsibilities
Engineer and 3D model sheet metal structures and assemblies using Solidworks '21.
Integrate electrical and refrigeration components into your model
Develop detailed technical drawings following ASME and internal standards
Develop laser files using Lantek Expert
Generate Bill of Materials in collaboration with the other disciplines
Generate and execute engineering change orders.
Peer review other engineers projects
Conduct FEA and other analysis aimed at ensuring designs are safe and economical
Skills Required-
Five or more years of experience using Solidworks Sheetmetal and PDM
Five or more years in manufacturing, Designing for Manuf. and Assembly
Great communication skills
Great attention to detail
An innovative mindset and positive attitude
Skills Preferred-
A four year degree in mechanical engineering
Working knowledge of refrigeration
Working knowledge of electrical
