Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Project Estimator in Juno Beach, FL. This position develops, quantifies, costs, and provides a complete capital expenditure (CapEx) model for evaluating projects. CapEx models include all engineering and costs. The Lead Project Estimator will provide technical guidance, estimating knowledge, market pricing, staffing considerations during the estimating process, and presenting results up to management. Responsibilities:
The Lead Project Estimator prepares capital cost estimates
Reviews designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives, when appropriate
Coordinates with other departments, ensuring understanding of project objectives and efficient utilization of resources
As a Lead Project Estimator, you will review layouts, designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives, when appropriate
Remains current with technology and industry evolution, assuring that capital estimates anticipate the correct market conditions
Establishes, builds, and implements metrics for cost and estimate checks
Mentors and develops junior members of the team
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience
Proficient with Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years
Field Experience: 5+ years
Strong preference for candidates with previous experience in renewables or transmission projects
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
