BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Inserting Operator for an opportunity in Troy, MI 48084!




Position Title: Inserting Operator



Location: Troy, MI 48084

Anticipated Start Date: 11/19/2024

Expected Duration: 3+ months



Job Type: FULL TIME (>=30 HRS WEEKLY, [CONTRACT], [REMOTE]

Pay Range: [$15.00] - [$18.00]

Requirements:

• Experience with USPS postal regulations strongly preferred


• Mail Inserter experience


• Digital print experience

Job Description:


Position Purpose:

Operate and maintain an inserter to produce mail pieces and prepare mailing for the Post Office. Inspect pieces during production and make adjustments to keep machines running.

Education/Experience:



High school diploma or equivalent.


1+ year experience working in a mail production facility operating a mechanical inserter.


Experience with USPS postal regulations strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

* Produce mail-pieces using automated inserting technology.
* Operate folding machines, cutter and bindery equipment.
* Operate machines that insert printed matter, such as letters or booklets into envelopes.
* Maintain equipment using provided maintenance schedule.
* Maintain optimal level of productivity.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for a long period of time.
