General Electronics / Mechanical Assembler Specialist D




Huntsville, AL




Contract Position

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform complex assembly and inspections on electronic, electrical, and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.


• Rework, repair, and modify parts and assemblies as needed.


• 
  Present statistical data for team analysis and problem-solving.


• Conduct periodic maintenance on machines, set up complex tooling, and follow inspection checklists.


• 
  Coordinate workflow with managers and other departments to resolve issues and establish priorities.


• Assemble and deliver kits, perform receiving inspections, and document results per procedures.


• Utilize engineering drawings and written work instructions for complex assemblies.


• Update work status documentation and maintain accurate inspection records.

Qualifications:

• 
  Education: High School Diploma or GED combined with 7+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


• 
  Experience:
  
  
  
  • Proficiency with hand tools, soldering tools, hot air pencils, pliers, and precision measuring tools.
  
  
  • Ability to operate computing equipment for accessing drawings, specifications, and online information systems.
  
  
  • Experience working with chemicals (alcohol, solder, flux).
