Job Description:

Baer is looking for an Oracle ERP Cloud PTP & Brazilian Taxation Manager for a 12+ month remote project.


Title: Oracle ERP Cloud PTP & Brazilian Taxation Manager
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 12 months
Rate: All-inclusive

Description:

• Provide L1/L1.5 support for Oracle ERP Cloud PTP and financial modules, addressing user queries and how-to/when-to inquiries.


• Resolve basic issues related to Brazilian localization, including tax calculations, compliance, and reporting (e.g., ICMS, PIS, COFINS, ISS).


• Serve as the primary point of contact for Brazil-based users, offering guidance on Oracle ERP Cloud functionalities and best practices.


• Support users in executing PTP processes such as purchase orders, invoice processing, payments, and financial entries.


• Address functional issues and troubleshoot system errors, escalating complex L2/L3 issues to the broader team in India.


• Collaborate with global teams to ensure issues are properly communicated and resolved in a timely manner.


• Ensure Brazil-specific tax rules are properly configured within Oracle ERP Cloud, following regulatory compliance.


• Conduct basic financial reporting and help users interpret data from Oracle ERP Cloud.


• Document resolutions, FAQs, and best practices to improve user support for the Brazil team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle ERP Cloud with a focus on PTP and financial modules.


• Strong understanding of Brazilian tax regulations, including ICMS, PIS, COFINS, ISS, and other local taxes.


• Experience supporting users in a multi-lingual and multi-national environment, particularly in Brazil.


• Ability to provide L1/L1.5 support, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.


• Familiarity with Brazil-specific Oracle ERP Cloud localization requirements.


• Excellent communication skills, able to address user issues with clarity and patience.


• Ability to escalate complex L2/L3 issues to offshore teams and manage communication across time zones.
