Institutional Services - Client Administration Lead, Managing Director at State Street in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Responsible for the Contract Management team serving as the lead role will establish support for client coverage by centrally managing the commercial contracts and controls processes within Institutional Services. Success will be measured in the following ways: re-engineering processes for more efficient and timely execution from fee negotiation through to billing, reconciliation and remediation of past due billing items to support billing transformation efforts, thorough completion of contracts in compliance with QFC, ensuring adoption of standardization to reduce risk exposure, and ultimately an improved client experience. Key partners to this role include Product, Global Billing Operations, Billing Transformation, Relationship Managers, sales teams, and Business Risk Management. This role will lead a team that covers the end to end process facilitation, reconciliation and remediation, governance, and reporting.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage the Relationship Manager and sales inquiries through an end to end process

  • Align support model to facilitate the end to end process by segment and region; including technology development requirements in CLM

  • Reduce the overall timeline from fee negotiation to billing

  • Manage through complex challenges balancing client demands and standardization

  • Address the reconciliation and remediation of contract and fee schedules for new and existing clients

  • Identify and drive key activities to close the gap to unbilled revenue

  • Identify and create procedures to mitigate future discrepancies

  • Ensure compliance and support for conversion to ORMB

  • Representation on various governance forums to ensure the voice of the client is considered

  • Facilitate streamlined and timely execution of next steps identified in decision making forums

  • Oversee contract upload processes in partnership with Client Lifecycle tool

  • Responsible for measuring and tracking against KPIs

  • Drive deeper accountability with responsible stakeholders to reduce our risk profile


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to navigate complex matrix environments

  • Demonstrate ability to deliver outcomes in a fast paced, challenging environment

  • Strong track record of connecting the dots to inform a larger strategy while maintain an execution oriented mindset

  • Strong skills needed to influence and gain stakeholder buy-in

  • Strong process and planning orientation

  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving

  • Sound experience in data analytics

  • Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment to company

  • BS/BA degree required; Master's preferred

  • Minimum 10-15 years of financial service experience


Salary Range:
$170,000 - $267,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
