Job Overview

Linxon's Raleigh office is seeking a skilled and motivated Planner/Scheduler to join our project team. In this key role, you will be responsible for leading the development and coordination of project schedules, working closely with both internal teams and subcontractors to ensure alignment with critical project milestones. Responsibilities:


  • Master Scheduler: Develop comprehensive, resource-loaded master schedules and detailed project timelines, ensuring alignment with key milestones set by customers and management.


  • Subcontractor Liaison: Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure their schedules are in sync with the project master schedule, promoting collaboration and on-time deliveries.


  • Team Collaborator: Work closely with the project team to determine schedule priorities, keeping everyone aligned and on track for success.


  • Meeting Contributor: Attend project team and subcontractor meetings, providing valuable schedule variation reports and offering technical guidance to enhance team performance.


  • Independent Planner: Take charge of planning, scheduling, and organizing tasks, using your judgment to monitor and control project progress.


  • Performance Analyst: Support the project team in creating detailed control reports, including time and budget variation analysis, critical path updates, S-curve insights, and progress reports.


  • Compliance Checker: Monitor ongoing work to ensure it adheres to contractual and schedule requirements.


  • Change Order Champion: Play an active role in the Change Order Management process, adapting schedules to accommodate project adjustments smoothly.


Qualifications:


  • Experienced Scheduler: At least 5 years of experience as a Site Planner/Scheduler on EPC/construction projects.


  • Industry Expertise: Proven experience working within an engineering or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) environment.


  • Detail-Oriented Professional: A proactive approach with strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of planning techniques.


  • Exceptional Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members at all levels.


  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in project management software, including Primavera P6 and PM+.


  • Educational Background: An associate degree or at least two years of post-high school training/experience is required, with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field.


  • Adaptable and Motivated: Highly motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, responding quickly and effectively to unexpected high workloads and project changes.
